02 / ARCHITECTURE

Not sure which architecture to choose?

You only need to identify the processor type—no specialist system knowledge required.

macOS

Open “Apple menu > About This Mac.” Choose ARM64 for Apple M-series chips and x64 for Intel.

B

Windows

Open “Settings > System > About” and find “System type.” Most PCs use x64.

C

Linux

Run uname -m in a terminal. Choose x64 for x86_64, or ARM64 for aarch64 and arm64.
